Parking at the Canton Trade Days on First Monday
Parking lots are scattered all around the perimieter of the Canton First Monday Trade Days grounds. Many private property owners open their land for parking as well as lots owned by the city and other venue owners. Many pavilions outside the grounds but adjacent or near by to the Flea Market offer their own parking as well. The rates may vary by location but generally not much at all. The rates do vary by location and do change. The average price is $5.00 per vehicle, though this is subject to change at anytime and may not always be correct. If you come into Canton on highway 64, FM 859, Hwy. 17, FM 1255 or highway 19 you will see several locations adjacent to, inside the grounds or across the street from the First Monday Trade Days as well as The Mountain, The Village, The Curry Animal Grounds, The Canton Trade Center, The Canton Market Place and more. If you come in on FM 859 and enter the grounds through the west gate there is a large parking area near the log cabin and west gate. On highway 19, near the east gate, near the original pavilions, near the official city grounds, near the canton marketplace, near the canton trade center & near the east gate mall there are several areas between the Farmers Market and the intersection with highway 64 on both sides of the road including the one pictured below which is across the street from the East Gate to The Canton First Monday City Owned areas and the original Pavilions. On highway 64 there is parking just east of highway 19 on both sides of the highway. West of highway 19 a couple blocks is the entrance to the Canton Civic Center which also has nearby parking. There is plenty of close in parking on all sides and near all areas. Park at one place and then ride the free trolley from one area to another instead of driving over and parking again.
While I cannot post prices for all the lots all the time. Many lots also have Bus and Truck Parking for a higher fee, usually starting somewhere around $20.00 USD. Tour Buses and groups are welcome with or without advance notice.
There are many score acres set aside for parking and many tens of thousands of cars can be accomodated at anytime. There is no shortage of parking at the Canton Trade Days though on the busier months you may have to search some of the less traveled byways to find parking.
